"Hang from the Midriff" was inspired by Aerial Ribbon dancers (in things like Cirque du Soleil), and by the idea that music can guide your thoughts if you let it -- for better or worse, but mostly better. Also, it's dance music so you can dance to it. I'm primarily a bass guitarist, and writing music has been a passion for a long time.
